Very disappointed with our experience at Aster Cedar Hospital, Jebel Ali. My partner was seen by an ophthalmologist and prescribed medication for conjunctivitis. The next morning, his condition worsened significantly, with severe blurred vision and difficulty opening his eyes. We returned to the hospital seeking urgent assistance, but were only told that no ophthalmologist was available. What concerned us most was the lack of guidance and empathy. No assessment was offered, and staff were unable to direct us to another facility with an available eye specialist. While I understand that specialists may not always be available, patients with worsening symptoms should receive appropriate support, advice, and compassionate care. Unfortunately, this was not our experience.
